    1. hi mam,

      i got the error in dataguad are following,

      in ora-16766: redo apply is stopped (standby site) databroker congfig shows me,

      in alert filer shows me on standby site,

      ora-01110 & ora-01157

      please help me out these error.

    Now it is ISCSI issue , when i installed mention below rpm it shows me following error

    1. Hi Bharat!

      You are getting this error because already have iscsi-initiator-utils-6.2.0.871-0.10.el5.i386 installed on your machine.

      Either you can continue with the existing rpm or
      – you can try installing using rpm -Uvh
      or
      – First deinstall existing rpm and then install the new one

    What is the best i/o schedular for ORACLE RAC running on Linux servers. how read and write happens in DB server? is more read and less write happens on DB? could you please explain bit more on I/O behaviour if it DB server?

        Thanks for your kind suggestion, now error is rectify after mention following entry in etc/hosts file

        [root@racnode2 ~]# cat /etc/hosts

        192.168.1.152 racnode2.orcl.com racnode2

        # Private
        192.168.2.151 racnode1-priv racnode1-priv

      Pls refer to the last line in the output:
      The cluster is not configured or is not running on node: racnode1

      Start/configure clusterware on racnode1.
